Midland-Alan Bluetooth Intercom The Midland Bluetooth (BT) Intercom is our first wireless rider-pillion link that also supports the addition of other Bluetooth enabled devices. It allows you to enjoy full duplex (VOX) communications between rider and pillion & also lets you pair the headsets with other devices such as mobile phones & GPS products so that both rider and pillion can make use of these devices whilst traveling at real world speeds. The unit itself may look similar to existing products on the market, but is in fact a completely different design & spec. Existing Bluetooth Rider systems will only pair with Bluetooth devices & will not pair with other headsets. The Midland Intercom also differs by incorporating 2 ergonomic loudspeakers & a larger boom mounted microphone, allowing it to be mounted to any open or full faced helmet without the need for modifying the lining of your helmet. As an added bonus, the intercom utilises the latest ACG noise cancelling technology that basically works harder the faster you go. As your speed (and ambient noise level) increases, the volume automatically rises & falls to compensate & the noise cancelling filters work harder to block out wind noise.
